Vaeh's journey to the World Hip Hop Championship

This page is to support Vaeh Elliott's journey to compete in the International Dance Organization (IDO) World Hip Hop, Popping and Breakdance Championships, October 23-28 2023, in Kielce, Poland.

While some other countries financially support their dancers in these competitions, Canadian dancers must completely fund the training and travel costs associated. This includes flights, ferries, accommodations, choreographer fees, venue rentals and costumes to name a few.

Vaeh has been saving her paycheques from working at a local deli and teaching youth summer camps at Vibestreet Dance Studio, to help fund her way to this amazing experience. Vaeh is scheduling her work commitments in between her daily practices at home, her weekly practice with peers, and their training sessions in Vancouver.

Her family and friends are so proud of her determination and have created this account to help her ease the financial burden.
