Heroes for Henry

This young superstar is Henry. Brother to Emily, son to Andrea and Cian, and hero to all who know him. He is known to his dad as HBOD, the Lion Heart.

Henry is no stranger to fighting against health issues.

In 2009, Henry was born with half his heart missing. He has undergone 6 operations in his short life to enable his heart to function. He was really starting to thrive when something awful happened.

A routine adenoid operation revealed that Henry had an aggressive lymphoma cancer.

Imagine how his parents, Andrea and Cian felt, when 12 years of absolute positivity in the face of multiple operations went into a tailspin as the doctors delivered the desperate news.

Imagine being in the shoes of his big sister, Emily, who is having to grow up way too soon.

Imagine being Henry, fighting all his life, only for the biggest fight of his life to be landed on him in an instant.

Henry’s illness has upended every normal thing in the family’s daily life. They needs our support to get through these days. Their costs are starting to mount up. They are consistently on the road. Their work lives are disrupted, and this is going to continue as they nurse Henry back to health.

On top of all their worries, let’s make it so that financing the basics is not one of them.
