McGrupps for Puerto Rico

With the many tragedies that have come over the past several months it's hard to decide which charity to get involved in and how to make the most difference with the resources you have. Here at McGrupp's we have been blessed to have the kind people and customers help us on that journey of selfless giving which we hope can inspire others to do the same.
After not being able to reach good friends in Puerto Rico for several weeks after Hurricane Maria, we became personally invested in trying to make a difference. Not to mention our most recent pup rescue in May "Primo" from Puerto Rico. After hearing about the complete devastation we have done many things to try and get supplies and essential needs for life to this US territory. Our first trip was a success and we were able to get over 1000lbs of supplies and goods to the small town of Loiza. After hearing about our success we found a significant amount of people who wanted to help but didn't know how. Shipping costs and corruption have become a concern and unfortunately the red tape of our government is not getting the proper supplies to the right people in time.
We have a way to get your supplies there!! It is distributed throughout the towns based on each families needs. Not everyone can purchase and deliver supplies so we decided that creating a page for funding was our best option to make the most impact. 100% of the funds will be transferred to our non-profit McGrupps for Puerto Rico, INC. Here there are no directors, no treasurers or secretaries that take a salary. All donations, both monetary and physical supplies, are delivered to these towns that need our help so badly. Sometimes the bureaucracy of non-profits gets in the way of actually helping and making sure everything goes to where it is intended. With McGrupps you will know that your selfless giving is making a difference to those who need it the most. Our ongoing effort is something we have poured our hearts into.
For updates, please look at our Facebook, which will have photos from each trip and show the impact we are able to make with your help. Our next trip will focus on water filtration systems for families and churches, some of which still don't have running water.
