I never thought I would have to make one of these, or that’s what we all hope for at least. Tragedy has struck and I don’t know what else to do but ask for help.
On Saturday 9/8/18 Ethan had shortness of breath and was unresponsive. After countless tests and being put in a medically induced coma on life support , we have found out he has been diagnosed with ARDS. Looking at that you probably don't know what it is because I didn't even when they told me. It's Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome which can result in inhaling (aspirating) vomit or near-drowning episodes and also causing him to have severely damaged lungs.
If you know Ethan he is the most amazing man ever. He has changed my life for the better and I'm sure if you know him he has showed you he wears his heart on his sleeve. He would take the shirt off his back for anyone in need.
Ethan is currently in the ICU for weeks or even months to come. The recovery road is going to be longer than I can even fathom and I really just need support at this terrible time. Medical costs and expenses are racking up and at this point this is our only option. His mother is here for as long as it takes to help me get him back up and moving. There is still a lot of obstacles in the way but the only thing we can do this time is be there for him. Please say a prayer, if you cannot donate but anything helps and we appreciate it more than you know. Thank you everyone.
