Sarah's Funeral

Donation protected
Addiction is a horrendous battle. Most people cannot fight it alone.  Unfortunately yesterday on June 26th 2019, my sister Sarah Amato lost this battle.  Her life was taken at the age of 21. Her cause of death is still under investigation, but my family and I are almost positive she was sold pressed fentanyl pills. The opioid epidemic is affecting the younger generation at an increasingly rapid rate and many lives are at risk. My sister Sarah was loved by so many and still felt alone. All of her loved ones are asking what they can do for me and my family, and I can barely think.  The main thing that we need is time to process our loss. I am a full time waitress at a restaurant, and I use my earnings toward my tuition, as I am a prelaw student at LAVC. Grieving the loss of my sister is harder than I can explain, and a full time job in itself. For my family and I, this time is so overwhelming, it’s almost impossible to focus. However, we have to keep pushing for Sarah, and my family needs to get her funeral in order so we can properly lay her at peace. Anything that anyone can offer us will be beyond appreciated. I am trying to make this as stressless as possible for my family, and I thank you all deeply for your condolences, love, and any help in advance.
