On Monday 3/16, we made the very difficult decision to close Sage Kitchen to do our part in helping stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a result, we had to lay off over 25+ people on our team in the hopes that they will be able to collect unemployment and provide for themselves during these unprecedented claims.
However, unemployment benefits (if they are even able to collect them) are below minimum wage and are insufficient to support the average person during these challenging times.
We are therefore raising money to further support our incredible staff and are asking our community of regulars, neighbors, friends & family to help as much as you can in order to provide immediate relief for our team members. Every single dollar counts.
Our staff makes Sage Kitchen what it is and without them there would be no Sage Kitchen--that's why we're raising money to support these wonderful people and any donation amount you can contribute, no matter how big or small, will make a huge impact.
