Full Recovery!

For those of you who don't know, on July 8th, 2018, my life and the lives of my close friends and family to me were dramatically changed. I had an unfortunate mountain bike crash while practicing for a race in Northern Idaho. I fractured my T4 and T5 vertebrae, along with a contusion to my spinal cord at that level (paralyzed from the sternum down). I underwent a spinal fusion surgery immediately following the accident, and spent the next week, with my family and some close friends, in the critical care unit, located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I was flown to Denver on July 16th to begin my inpatient rehabilitation program at Craig hospital. My family and I spent 2 months in the hospital setting at Craig before I "graduated" and began outpatient therapy. I cannot say how grateful and fortunate my family and I have been, to be able to be a part of Craig. I have been here for a year now, 10 months on my own, and Craig has been there for me in every step of my recovery. The next steps that I will be taking include a more progressive style of therapy, and regenerative medicine therapy. In the recent weeks I’ve noticed some pretty dramatic improvements, so I really want to continue working hard and pushing those improvements.  

I'm asking for our supporters out there to please help me raise  money for regenerative medicine (the majority of the target goal) and continued physical therapy. This style of physical therapy is not typically billable through insurance, and it gets very expensive. Words cannot express the amount of appreciation for any and all donations. I will keep everyone updated with my progress via social media.

These funds will also be put towards certain supplies and equipment that will make every day life much easier and more efficient for me. I thank each and every one of you out there so, so, SO much, the amount of love and support that I, and my family, have received  through this journey has been very humbling.
