Surgical emergency

I don't even know where to start . I'm a single parent of 2 teenage sons. 18, 15. 2.5months ago i was injured at work, i got an umbellical hernia at work. I tried to continue working as normal, the tear got worse each shift. My intestines started protuding over 4 times per day. I went to the ER and they said i needed surgery right away but because it was a work injury i needed approval first but to come back if i could not push the injury back in on my own. And was told not to work till i saw a surgeon.  The surgeon said i needed it repaired right away.  Workers comp took 3 weeks to approve this, but finally did. Just had the surgery and will not be back to my regular shifts for 4 more weeks. WORKERS COMP HAS NOT PAID ME A DIME YET. I'M OVER 2 MONTHS LATE ON ALL MY BILLS. THATS RENT, CAR PAYMENT, INSURANCE, PHONE, INTERNET,  ETC . WORKERS COMP IS DRAGGING THEIR FEET AND I'M SCARED ME AND MY BOY'S WILL LOSE EVERYTHING BEFORE THEY FINALLY REIMBURSE ME FOR THE MISSED PAYCHECKS. ANYTHING WOULD HELP, IF YOUR NOT ABLE TO HELP THEN COULD YOU PLEASE SHARE.
