His Cancer is called Adenocarcinoma. It’s in the lining of his stomach so there is no tumor to remove. The 350 hours of chemo so far has not stopped it. The only option is to remove his entire stomach.
Marty was diagnosed with a rare stomach cancer on Oct 17th—the day before his birthday. Shocking to say the least. We’ve traveled the cancer road twice before with our sweet little girl Amanda Hope. Leukemia for three years and then a brain tumor for nine months before she passed. We knew what was ahead of us: fighting for your life and fighting the Insurance company for every treatment and drug needed. From PET scans to Zofran--denied or limited too many times to count
We’ve battled the insurance company for authorization to remove Marty’s stomach—and have finally won. We looked into other immune therapy treatments and have seen an ND -Naturopathic Oncologist and, again, insurance does not cover the treatment. The treatments Marty will need after surgery will cost $1900.00 a week for 3 months. As so many know, cancer treatments cost thousands of dollars and, even with insurance, are financially devastating.
We are praying for and committed to a miracle cure. To be the 33% to Kick Cancer Ass. Beat this evil once and for all.
We are blessed by your caring and prayers and appreciate you financial help more than we can express.
