August 2021 we bought home our first kangal as a gaurdian for our poultry and rescued wildlife. We named her Freya.

Unfortunately her job as a gaurdian was short lived as she was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia in both elbows. She had surgery 11 weeks ago.

The breeder sent us a "replacement" pup after Freya's diagnosis. We named this new pup Xena.

All was going alright until Xena developed lameness in December. Yesterday she was also diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. We now have two elbow dysplasia dogs.

I have resorted to this to raise funds for Xena's surgery as we used what we had spare on Freya's surgery only 11 weeks ago and her current hydro and laser therapy sessions..

It was quoted $3000-$4000 for Xena's surgery. She will need to then do the same rehab Freya is doing to build up strength again which is $75 for an hour once week in warnambool (2hr drive one way for us).

Please help if you can. It will be greatly appreciated. If funds can not be raised our only other option is to put her to sleep
