Dragon needs your help!
Dragon, Draggo, Drags, D, Rascal, Rasky, Beans Butt, Brownie, or if you're into the more formal; The Sheriff or Mr Brown... whatever you call him, we know you love him. Almost as much as you love his humans, Jake and Morgan. If you know this trio, you know they love their daily hikes. There is nowhere the three seem more at peace and in harmony with life than when out on one of their favorite trails.
We were deeply saddened to hear that Dragon, in a rather sudden and unexpected turn of events, was recently rendered unable to walk or even stand long enough to eat. As you can imagine, it's simply devastating to watch one of your favorite souls suffer like that.
There is good news... Jake and Morgan have found a doctor who is confident that a surgery will have Dragon back on the mountain in one months time. The bad news... it is an outrageously expensive surgery.
Knowing that this financial burden adds an incredible amount of stress to an already overwhelming situation.... and knowing that this situation is happening to two of the most amazing humans this planet has to offer up... we really wanted to try and help them out. So my husband David made a super sweet video and I am launching this page to ask, humbly, on their behalf, to please give anything you can to this worthy cause.
** A word from Morgan & Jake **
Dragon is our hero, our best friend, our teacher and our baby. Apparently he is such a trooper we didn’t even realize until about a month ago that he was suffering and in terrible pain … long story short, he is getting a back surgery to have a disc removed that has been causing 50% compression of his spine, and more recently making even walking outside to relieve himself a great challenge. Aside from this awful bulging disc, we have learned that he is otherwise in perfect health! His blood work looks great and turns out he doesn’t even really have arthritis. While there are so many worthy causes and people in need, if you are able, we are humbly asking for support in our journey to let the most magical spirit we have ever encountered live out his days frolicking through the trees. Dragon truly loves you and so do we!!! And thank you infinity to Megan and David for hosting this fundraiser and shining a light when we were feeling so lost!!
