We need your help!

My van was totaled while I was getting Physical Therapy. After paying it off, the deductible, missed work, and out of pocket expenses for a rental(returned today), we found an old car with low miles. I tried dealerships, but with one part time household income, nothing was affordable and everything had over 100k miles. The owner of the car, used to kill my mini van, is not making things easy, as his policy didn't cover the unlicensed driver.

The value of the van, after paying lien holder & deductible leaves me short $1600 to purchase, register, pay taxes, insure, get winter tires, and pay off rental fees put on a credit card. I am unable to drive or be a passenger in my husband's Jeep. It causes my back to act up, leaving me in pain limping. The car is available immediately, a 95 Buick with 31k original miles! It's not a dog car, but it will get me to work, Dr's, and allow us to catch up a bit to be able to purchase something, more appropriate, down the road.

I need to be able to get to work, comfortably. I cannot lose my job due to these fools. I cannot afford to rent any longer or to be transported for too long in a vehicle that just doesn't fit, and has it's own limitations.

Anything you are able and willing to donate will be greatly appreciated. We are getting $1400 from our insurance, leaving us short and in a bind. This is a bit time sensitive, as I am due to work next Wednesday 12/13 at a clinic 30 miles away. We are getting all the DMV paperwork will be picked up tomorrow.

I love my PT jobs. I need to be able to get to the skool to teach. I need to work or Worker's Comp will cut my medical coverage for the injuries.
