UW-Madison's Mock Trial Team is Nationals bound!

For the first time in 14 years, the University of Wisconsin-Madison's mock trial team has won a bid to the National Championship Tournament. This has been a ride nearly six months in the making. Please consider supporting us! Here are some quick facts about the team and our nationals run!
This year has been quite the year for UW-Madison mock trial.
- Both our A and B teams won bids to the Open Round Championship Series for the first time in recent memory
- Both teams have far outperformed expectations! Our A team was ranked 241 in the country at the beginning of the season. Our B (equally matched) team was unranked. Both teams still made it out of regionals!
- Our A team has placed at every tournament we've competed in throughout fall invitational season to spring competitive season
- UW Madison A is possibly the only unstacked team to reach Nationals!
- Our A team is a very young team— only one senior and two juniors. The rest of the team is freshman and sophomores, over half of which are competing at the college level for the first time.
Here's why we need help!
- A nationals run is expensive! Here's all the expenses we need to fundraise to cover:
- Airplane tickets to fly our team and our wonderful coaches to Lancaster, PA, to avoid the 12-hour drive
- Tournament registration fees
- Rental cars
- Food for the team between rounds
- Money to reserve practice spaces at either a hotel or conference center
- Housing costs for Thursday through Monday of nationals weekend at a hotel or airbnb
- The costs of putting a case together (printing, making demos, prepping a case box)
- Plus, we are a program on the rise! Our teams plan to be competing at the highest level for years to come!
