Beth Hankins Fire Recovery Fund

Donation protected

On the night of December 16th Beth Hankin's home caught fire. While she escaped with burns and is in the hospital, Rob Roy did not. Please be in prayer for both families as they try to handle this situation, especially during the holiday season.

Beth lost everything in the fire and is in need of some basic things. If you are willing to donate to this fund, all the money will be given to Beth's daughter to assist her mother in recovery.

The money will be spent on replacing clothing and essentials, and to care for Beth's dog Ruby who also escaped the fire.

Beth's daughter, Leigh-Ann Baker, shared the following on Facebook:

"I woke up to 2 missed calls from the doctor around 4am. We headed over to Memorial so I could see her in the ER before they transferred her to a permanent room. Thank you so much to the kind nurse who allowed me those 30-40 minutes I had alone with my mom. She told me to crawl up in bed and we laid there. She doesn’t remember it due to the shock & medications. I’ve talked to her a few times today and she’s been up and down, but the last time I talked to her she said, “I’m rough & tough. It’ll take a little bit but I’ll pull through.” She is one amazing woman I’ll tell you that. If anyone wonders where my strength came from... just look at her. I know she is extremely sore & her entire right arm is bandaged up. I don’t know to the extent. We went ahead & stopped by a store to grab her some pajamas & slippers to drop by at the hospital. Hopefully, we will find out more tomorrow. Thank you again for all the kindness & love.

It’s extremely hard to post & talk about this but I wanted to share a little for right now."

This gofundme is being organized by Beth's neighbor Andrew, but all funds will go to Beth's family.
