Uvalde CISD Victims Fund

Donation protected
For anyone who does, or doesn't know me the tragedy at Uvalde CISD is a heartbreak that hurts even more due to my long relationship with members of the community. When moving from the customer side to the Technology Reseller space almost 9 years ago, UCISD was my very first customer, but more importantly, one of my favorite to work with. I have spent more nights than I could attempt to count at the Uvalde hotels, but it is always one of those trips that you look forward to. The town of Uvalde is truly a small-town close-knit community, much like the one that I grew up in. It's the type of town where everyone waves and greets you at the local restaurants whether they know you or not. It's the type of town where you can be pulled over for speeding (personal experience) and it ends with a new friend and a handshake. Sadly, it's also a community that is economically challenged much like many other small towns across this country.

The horrific shooting that happened on May 24th is a tragedy that none of us ever want to experience. As a husband to a teacher and a father to an elementary student (not at UCISD), I can't imagine the pain and trauma these families are experiencing right now.

In an effort to help these families directly impacted by this horrible experience, I have decided to start this fundraiser. For anyone that donates, you have my promise of the following:

1. Every single dollar raised will go directly to the victims of the Uvalde CISD shooting.
2. Ideally, the money will be used for funeral and medical cost for the victims. However, the ratios will be determined based on the amount raised.
3. Once this fundraiser is complete, the breakdown of how the money is spent will be communicated back to the donors.

To start this off, I'm personally donating $1,000 of my own money to this cause. Let's see how much we can raise to help a community that badly needs it.
