Support Ashford Greens

I’m Mandy Rossi, Parliamentary Candidate for the Green Party for Ashford, and I have a special invitation for you.

Because I want us to win.

I want the Greens to win more seats on Kent County Council in 2025, and I want us to be able to run our strongest General Election Campaign yet.

In 2019 we won our first two seats on Ashford Borough Council. We now have 8 fantastic, hard-working councillors making a real difference in their local communities. Not only that – we’re now in joint administration with the Ashford Independents, with a real vision for Ashford – we want to build a community, not just a town.

In 2021, we won our first seat on Kent County Council and we have real ambition for 2025. We want to turn that one seat into at least three, and we know we can do it. We have a great team who know how to campaign and have heaps of enthusiasm. Like me, they know that more Green voices at decision making tables, can make a huge difference.

The boundary changes for the Parliamentary Constituency of Ashford have opened up real possibility for us. We know that we have a huge amount of support. The local elections showed us that. Not only did we increase our number of councillors to 8, our 4 re-elected councillors all won with an increased majority which clearly demonstrates that once residents experience having Green representation, they want to keep it.

We need your help. We need £10,000 to print election literature and materials to support our campaign, which is already up and running but now needs to step up a gear.

And so, I’d like to invite you to either

a) join our 100 Club and become one of 100 people or businesses to donate £100 or more to help us win. Members of the 100 Club will be kept informed of the campaign’s progress and receive invitations to campaign events leading up to the elections!
