UT Austin UndocuGrad Celebration Fund

The Rooted Collective is excited to host our 3rd annual UndocuGrad celebration! We are a student organization at UT Austin that provides services to students who are undocumented, have temporary status, or are from mixed-status families. We’re aiming to raise $2,000 by May 31st to help cover costs for the space where we will hold the ceremony and reception, catering for the graduates and their esteemed guests, and decorations to honor our undocumented grads.

Because of the discontinuation of the Monarch program, there are now no dedicated programs providing services for students who are undocumented, hold temporary status, or are from mixed-status families. Rooted Collective aims to provide the services and resources to students, including community building events like this UndocuGrad celebration, after the termination of the Monarch program.

Raising the $2,000 in funds lost by the closure of the Monarch program would allow Rooted Collective to provide UT Spring 2025 graduates with a special celebration.
