The University of South Carolina Men’s Lacrosse team is conducting a fundraising blitz over the next month. As you may or may not know, our student-run organization pays their own way for everything that we do with membership dues. This season we have seen our hard work pay dividends on the game field, resulting in a 14-0 record thus far. We have planned our budget through the conference playoffs in April.
While we understand that we cannot look ahead on the field, as administrators of our program we are hopeful that we can continue our success this season and garner an invitation to the MCLA National Championship tournament. As such, we are conducting this fundraising campaign to establish a War Chest of resources that we can use for expenses related to the tournament. In the event we are unable to secure a bid to the MCLA tournament, we will maintain the funds that we raise for future cross-country travel in order to maintain a high quality out-of-conference schedule.
