I never thought in a million years that I would be writing this. My brother, Matt, is losing his battle with cancer. September 15, 2017 he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon cancer and given 6 months to live. Here we are today, April 23, 2018 and his new prognosis is 3 weeks.  For the last year and a half he has been fighting-doing chemo weekly.  Wednesday (4/18/18) he went to the ER with a horrible headache. The hospital did a scan of his brain and found 3 tumors. He has had pain in his back as well. They removed a litre of fluid from behind his right lung. The cancer is spreading fast.  They have moved him to hospice care and he will probably not be able to go home. Certainly not to a life that even remotely resembles the life he had. His memory and motor skills are affected from the tumors. Matt has one son that is his life, Matthew II, who is 14 years old. Matt has always worked very hard at his home remodeling business and has done fairly well for himself, however, he has no savings, no funeral coverage, nothing extra.  We are struggling to find the finances to cover all of these things and pray that whomever Matt has blessed could bless this situation.  Ultimately, God is in control. We are just going one day at a time.  Please keep us all in your prayers!
