Help us create our own family

Hi, we are Amandine and Helen, together for almost 8 years, married for 1 year!

We started the process of creating our family about a year ago, first 'at home' and now with the help of Rainbow City Fertility Clinic through IVF. Everything was ready for the procedure to take place in september, and we had put money aside for it. But today the pharmacist told us that the medication needed will cost us over $2000 as medicare does not reimburse us because of our visa situation (we have been waiting for almost 2 years for the government to validate our visa and it's still pending). When our fertility team learned about that, they then realised that we will probably not get any rebate for any of the procedures like they thought before, which brings the cost of the all thing to double what we thought we had to pay (around $15000/$16000). We are hoping to raise some money here to help us reach our goal and start the family we are dreaming of. Thank you for donating, sharing and supporting us through it all.
