My U.S. Naturalization Process
Hello!
My name is Sergio Rincon, born in 88, and since 2013 I've lived nearly 5 out of 20+y with a temporary legal status in the U.S. that could end due to the controversial and unstable certainty of the DACA protection I'm under: (Differed Action for Childhood Arrivals). (cost to date: nearly $2,000+ since approved and renewed).
Fortunately, my mother recently became a proud U.S. Citizen and we can now begin a fairly long but more promising process on my behalf, so that I may avoid deportation if or when the DACA protection expires.
This is the reason why I'm reaching out to ask for your help and assistance at this time. With the funds I am currently aiming to raise, I can afford legal representation that confirmed a legal fee of $750 which covers the application fee and services to properly handle my naturalization process. The remaining $1,250 will be used exclusively to renew DACA ($1,000) at least two more times so I may continue to work legally, and pay for license renewal fees and additional travel expenses until my permanent residence is secured.
Your support, however big or small, will truly make an impact as I aim at serving my family, community, local church, and all that Christ would have me do, without any more travel restrictions or lack of citizen rights. Your prayer more than anything else is welcome, as well as any questions or comments you would like to send my way. I believe this mountain can and will be moved through faith in a Father who reigns above, so please! Don't break the bank, but simply pray and share your support as you're able.

On Friday, June 8th 2018, my mother gave her oath to uphold the rights and responsibilities granted to her as a new U.S. Citizen. We rejoiced and celebrated this turning point that took nearly 20 years in the making.
Many know the hardships, pitfalls, and struggles involved to reach this landmark achievement as an immigrant. However to all that do not, I'd like to invite you into our story and share my plan and list of things to do in order to also achieve U.S. Citizenship in the years to come.
I was born in 1988 then migrated to the U.S. with my family on a tourist visa when I was 10 years old. I grew to know the language, love the culture, and invest my life in this abundant land of opportunities. However, at the age of 15 I learned that in hopes of becoming naturalized citizens, my parents had risked it all by remaining in the U.S. after our tourist visas expired. It was only over time that I learned more of the consequences and the lack of rights I would have to face as an illegal immigrant.
This coming December I will be celebrating 20 years since the day I first came to the United States, however, those include 15 of which I've been separated from my father who is in Colombia, 12 of not having work/driving privileges, and overall not being able to travel back to Colombia to be reunited with loved ones since the day I left my homeland.
In 2013 I was thankfully afforded the DACA protection (Differed Action for Childhood Arrivals) This law, although very controversial and unstable, has been a huge door of opportunity for me. I've been able to finally have the legal right to work with a SSN. while putting my BFA degree in Graphic Design to good use, I can also carry a renewable driver's license, and I'm able to travel without a sense of fear of deportation within the U.S.
