Uriah L. K. Molina
is my father who recently passed away. I’m the eldest of his 4 children. There’s me, Kawehi Molina-Kong(20y/o), Keola Molina-Kong(12y/o), Chloe Molina-Zoller(10y/o), and lastly Jahriah Molina(1y/o).
My dad was born on February 17, 1977 and passed away on July 6, 2017, he was 40 years old. If you knew my dad he was a really good guy, a lover, not a fighter. He is kind, loving, and even when he didn't have much, he’d still give or do whatever he could do to please his loved ones. My dad never missed any of my field trips when I was a kid and he’d always call me his princess and tell me how proud of me he was. I think out of everyone, I was the closest with him whenever he needed me, I was there and I knew if I needed to talk to someone my dad would listen. My dad and I never lied to each other, despite how bad things got, and whatever trouble I was in, or did, he was so understanding about it and I felt comfortable enough to tell him anything. He would scold me, but in the end he’d tell me that he trusts me to make the right decisions. I knew I was loved by him. I hope he knows how much he means to me and how much I love him to.. His death was sudden and unexpected, as I’m sure most deaths are. Being that my dad never married, I’m in charge of all his funeral arrangements. I do have a job as a Medical Assistant but the money I make isn't enough to give the funeral that my father deserves. Right now I’m deciding to bury my father at the Mililani Mortuary (I don’t want to do cremation because I feel like my dad would be scared getting burned). The money earned from this will go to:
-Basic Service of Arrangement Director, Office Staff and Overhead
-Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home
-Embalming and Care
-Use of Facilities and Staff for Funeral Ceremony at the Mauka Chapel
-Casket
-Cemetery Charges: Opening and Closing for Casket Burial
-Single Grave Bronze Grave Marker
-Flower Vases
-Flowers
-Death Certificate, catering, the funeral brochure, music, slideshow etc.
