Hi everyone,

I'm writing this on behalf of my best friend, Bowie, who is an amazingly strong, smart, and kind-hearted person in an incredibly difficult and dangerous situation. She is currently stuck in a toxic and abusive living environment, and the truth is, if we don’t help her, she could be homeless by February. However, there is hope: Bowie has found a safe place to go with a loving family in Ontario, only about a 6-hour drive away from her current residence in Pennsylvania, who will take care of her and give her the support she needs. But in order to get there, she urgently needs our help.

Bowie needs to leave immediately to escape the mental and emotional toll, but the reality is, she has no financial support to make that happen, and she also has no means of securing a stable job because of her toxic living situation. On top of that, she doesn't have a car, so her only option for travel is public transportation or other means, which are an additional cost.

Here’s a bit more about what’s going on:

Bowie has been living in a place where she’s constantly under stress, facing emotional and physical abuse, manipulation, and unhealthy living conditions. These circumstances have made it impossible for her to maintain steady work or pursue job opportunities, leaving her in a cycle of financial instability. This situation is slowly breaking her down, and she has no one to turn to. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any additional close family or friends who are in a position to help further. This is why I’m reaching out to you — she has no way out unless we can raise the funds she desperately needs to escape.

She needs money to cover:

Food & Basic Necessities – Right now, Bowie doesn’t have the money to buy food regularly, and she’s struggling to make ends meet just to survive each day. Her health is at risk, and we cannot let that continue.

Travel Expenses – Bowie needs help with transportation costs so that she can safely leave her current living situation and get to the loving family in Ontario who will support her. The cost of fare to her destination is crucial in getting her to safety, especially since she doesn't have a car.

Why This Is Urgent:

If she doesn’t get out soon, she will likely be without a place to stay by February. That’s the reality we’re facing. With the situation getting worse by the day, we need to act fast. Bowie deserves a chance to escape, heal, and have a life full of hope — not one trapped in fear. She’s a kind, intelligent, and talented person who simply needs a hand to pull her out of this.

We are asking for $1,500 to help Bowie get out of this abusive situation. This will cover her travel costs, food, and temporary housing until she can settle into a more stable living situation with her new family.
