Losing a loved one is difficult, no matter the circumstance, especially when your life changes in an instant. These kids lost their both parents and was living on the roadside, railway stations, bus stops and eating leftover foods from trash with no clothes. These scenes stuck in the heart of Goparaju Veeraswamy (Founder of Spandana Home), he saw new articles of these kids and then he bought them to his home and gave shelter, good food, education , health and positive mindset. He & his wife are taking care of each kid as their own children since 11 years.

They are running an orphanage home since 2008 with 30+ kids between the age groups 3-17 years, this home isn't just about providing food and shelter but to nurture their skills through education and extra curricular activities.You can find them living like any other normal family taken care by Goparaju Veeraswamy & Shobharani family as their own parents, they not only try to impart social responsibility and values but also make them understand the importance of giving back to the society.

I started supporting Spandana Orphan Home from May 2019. Before starting this fundraising, I pushed myself and reached out to Telangana State Government, but still no positive response & action.
1. I reached out to KTR on Twitter (State Government minister from Telangana) , but till date no action.
2. I reached out to Eatala Rajendra (State Government minister from Telangana) , met him in person but no positive response & action.
3. Reached out to many other officials for help, but still no response.
So I decided to start something from my end with the support of my family & friends and donations from Kind persons.
Now I am(Revathi Jannavarapu) raising donations to support Heroic couple for a permanent place to accommodate 30+ kids since they were living in a rental place all these years and now the owner has asked them to vacate as he intends to sell off the property . Rented places are now hard to find since most of the people are hesitant to give place for orphanages due to fear of disturbance from kids, fear of property damage etc. If we could support them to get a permanent place for precious kids, there won't be problem of getting asked to vacate and they can extend our protection and care to more children in need.
I have started this fundraising campaign to get funds to buy a land for Spandana Orphan Voluntary Home with 30+ kids. All the funds will be used to buy a land & construction of orphanage home to accommodate kids and also to provide shelter and care for more children in need.

On July 14, 2019, Money minded government official came with group of her colleagues to Orphan Home in the name of search and started talking like " why are you taking care & feeding these children like buffaloes and goats (yes, she used these exact words) , drag them out". Then she started asking for money, organizers said No and then she put their license with her and started harassing them to close orphan home(in the name of rules).

Why I create the Fundraising campaign here
While exploring on Internet , I discovered an amazing video from one of my favorite channel My Village Show. When I listened to Founder's words in video I felt like I should talk to them once. Right after that I started following Spandana Orphan Home on Instagram and send them a message and took their phone number.
After speaking to them My Heart felt like I should help them and stand for them. I promised myself that "My help should not stop after donating some amount and should help them to build permanent building for Orphan Home".
The person who founded it, Goparaju Veeraswamy is one of the kindest souls. I did a very long conversation with the founder Veeraswamy garu and asked about their family background, daily expenses, monthly expenses, problems, education, health and long standing issues. The children were delightful. They were very happy and playful, and the called me "Akka(Sister)".
When i spoke to them , they mentioned one of the government official is harassing them in the name of rules and for not having own building, she is asking for money and also not renewing orphan home licence.
I tried to reach Kalvakuntla Rama Rao (KTR) garu , Working President of TRS party, Telangana through Twitter. He replied to one of my tweet and tagged current Health Minister Eatala Rajendra garu to help as he represents Karimnagar constituency. Yet they are waiting for official help.
I am trying to reach KTR garu every single day because government official came to orphan home with van to Seize it and started forcibly dragging off kids out of Home into Van. Local People & local TRS leaders came and supported orphan home organizers.
Founder's Story
when I was studying in Hyderabad in the year 1983-84, whenever I got holidays I visited the city along with my friends,there I saw the street children, labor children, orphans and the children who lift the house for various reasons stayed in parks,railway stations,footpath and bus stands .Those children appeared in terrible position for want of food , clothes and shelter. Those scenes were stuck in my mind for very very long time.
Number of affluent persons and educates are residing in Hyderabad, but nobody was showing any sort of sympathy towards the poor & orphan children. I broke. I couldn’t believe it that any child had to live like this. These children were going to bed hungry and lonely every night. I was angry, hurt, and embarrassed.
Personally I am from lower middle class family, but those heart breaking scenes of children made me to take action towards helping them. Right at that moment, I decided I had to do something to help parentless children with food, clothes, shelter and Education. I simply could not go on with my life as if they didn’t exist. I prayed that others would help me.
The idea for Spandana Orphan Home was born that day. The hon'bl minister sri Eatala Rajendar garu has opened the orphan organization at Jammikunta, Karimnagar, Telangana on 17-10-2008 with 7 children. A few months later I filed the paperwork and my tiny heartfelt idea of nonprofit became official and we got registration number for the organization i.e.NO.842.
I myself only met all the expenditure of Orphan Home by selling my property, sold gold that i saved for my own daughters marriage, to serve food, clothes, shelter, education for twelve (12) orphan children up to 2010.
At present we have thirty five(35) children in our Spandana Orphan Home , Local Donors & Public stepped up with generosity in order to help these vulnerable children with groceries, toys , clothes, rice bags, books, school bags, school uniform. Miraculously, people of all ages, from all walks of life, and from all socioeconomic backgrounds have joined us on this journey over the years. Hundreds of people have joined us to take a stand for orphaned children and donated to support our mission.
Beside orphan kids, my wife and I, we both are thinking to extend our services to old age people and also willing to serve more orphan kids with food, education, good manners and shelter. But as we are currently operating in a rented house with 45,000 Rupees monthly expenditure in which 12,000 rupees is only for rent.

వివరాల్లోకెళ్తే కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా జమ్మికుంట మండలం పరిధిలోని కొత్తపల్లి గ్రామంలో లో 2008 సంవత్సరంలో లో వీరస్వామి శోభ ఇద్దరు భార్యాభర్తలు మంచి ఉద్దేశంతో టి ఇక్కడ అనాధ పిల్లల కోసం సేవలను ఉద్దేశంతో టి ఇక్కడ స్పందన అనాధ ఆశ్రమం ఏర్పాటు చేశారు
ఇక్కడి వరకు బాగానే ఉన్నా గత 11 సంవత్సరాల నుండి తల్లిదండ్రులను పిల్లలకు వారికి ఆశ్రయం కల్పిస్తూ వారికి విద్యాబుద్ధులు నేర్పిస్తూ ఆశ్రమం నడిపిస్తున్నారు.

2012 సంవత్సరంలో లో ని ర్వహణకు డు వీరస్వామి అనాధ ఆశ్రమం లైసెన్స్ కొరకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నాడు లైసెన్స్ వచ్చింది ఇటి లైసెన్స్ ఐదు సంవత్స ఒకసారి రెన్యువల్ చేసుకోవలెను
గడువు ముగియడంతో మళ్లీ రెండు వేల కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నాడు కానీ అధికారులు నెల 7వ తారీఖు నాడు ఆశ్రమానికి వచ్చి మీకు లైసెన్స్ లేదని నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా నడుస్తుందని వెంటనే ఖాళీ చేయాలని చెప్పడంతో అనాధాశ్రమం లో గందరగోళ పరిస్థితులు ఏర్పడ్డాయి
ఐ సి డి ఎస్ అధికారులు మాత్రం పిల్లల్ని ఇక్కడ నుండి తీసుకెళ్తామని పట్టుబట్టడంతో పిల్లలందరూ ఒక్కసారిగా రోదించడం మొదలు పెట్టారు మమ్మల్ని విడదీయవద్దని ఇక్కడ మేము అందరం కలిసి మెలిసి ఉంటున్నామని ఇది ఒక కుటుంబం అని దయచేసి మమ్మల్ని విడదీయొద్దని పిల్లలు వేడుకుంటున్నారు ఒకవేళ నిబంధన ప్రకారం మూసివేస్తే నేను ఎక్కడికి వెళ్ళేది మాకు ఎవరు దిక్కు అంటూ ఏడుస్తున్నారు ప్రాణాలను వదులుతాము కానీ ఈ కుటుంబం నుంచి వెళ్ళిపొమ్మని అంటున్నారు అనాధ పిల్లలు.

మానవతా దృక్పథంతో టి పిల్లల్ని మానుండి దూరం చేయవద్దని ఎలాంటి నియమ నిబంధనలు మేం పాటిస్తామని వారు చెప్పిన విధంగా ఉంటామని అంతే తప్ప పిల్లల్ని మానుండి దూరం చేయవద్దని వేడుకుంటున్నారు.

మా ఆశ్రమం ప్రస్తుత మంత్రి ఈటెల రాజేందర్ గారి చేతుల మీదుగా ప్రారంభించము ఇప్పుడేమో నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధం అంటున్నారు మా ఆశ్రమం 2008 లో ప్రారంభం చేసినము ఇన్ని రోజులు లేని నిబంధనలు ఇప్పుడే గుర్తొచ్చాయి.ఎందుకంటే మెం చేసిన తప్పు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని మా ఆశ్రమం కోసం ఒక వసతి గృహం ఏర్పాటు చేయండి అని అడగడం అలాగే లైసెన్స్ రెన్వేల్ చేపించడానికి ICDS అధికారులకు లంచం ఇవ్వకపోవడం మీకు నిబంధనలు లేవు సీజ్ చేస్తాం అని బెదిరించడం దాని వల్ల మా పిల్లలు ఏడవడం సొమ్మసిల్లడం జరిగింది ఇవ్వని మీకు కనిపించవు మా సార్ ఎమ్ చేసిన జై తెలంగాణ అంటాం ,ఎవరు ఎక్కడ అయిన పొండి అన్నట్టు చూస్తున్నారు. రామన్న(KTR) దృష్టికి కూడా పోయింది అయిన ఎమ్ చేయలేకపోతున్నారు ఇది మన బంగారుతెలంగాణ చి ఈ మాట అననికి కూడా సిగ్గు వేస్తుంది, కానీ జై తెలంగాణ.

Hundreds of people have joined us to take a stand for orphaned children and donated to support our mission.
Beside orphan kids, my wife and I, we both are thinking to extend our services to old age people and also willing to serve more orphan kids with food, education, good manners and shelter. But as we are currently operating in a rented house with 45,000 Rupees monthly expenditure in which 12,000 rupees is only for rent.

I am trying to be more transparent regarding the campaign so I am providing as much as I know about the Spandana Orphan Home , Jammikunta, Karimnagar, Telangana,India. I am willing to help, so I will start this fundraising contributing my part first and also I promised to give my marriage expenses to needy people.
Once we have received donations from kind heart persons like you, at the end of the campaign, this will be transferred to Spandana Orphan Organization in accordance with policies and procedures identified here.
I will share each and every transaction with you generous community. I already coordinated with Spandana Orphan Organization Founder's.
I will provide updates of children and current situation of orphan Home as they are getting so much pressure from Government official.

పెద్దయ్యాక ఇక్కడ ఉండకూడదు అంటున్నారు అధికారులు
అసలు వాళ్ళు ఈ భూమి మీద పుట్టడమే నేరమా? అనాధ పిల్లలను అక్కున చేర్చుకొని వారికి తల్లిదండ్రులుగా పెంపకం చేస్తున్న ఆ అనాధ ఆశ్రమం నిర్వాహకుల తప్పు? ఎవరిది తప్పు ??
ఇలాంటి ప్రశ్నలు ఆ పిల్లల మదిలో అలజడి సృష్టిస్తున్నాయి.
ప్రాణాలైనా వదిలేస్తాము కానీ ఇక్కడి నుండి వెళ్లేది లేదు అంటున్నా అనాధ ఆశ్రమం పొందుతున్న బాలికలు అంటున్నారు.
ఇది అనాధ ఆశ్రమం కాదు ఇది ఒక కుటుంబం అంటున్నారు.
మమ్మల్ని చిన్నతనం నుండి అమ్మానాన్నల కంటే ప్రేమాభిమానాలతో పంచుకుంటూ మమ్మల్ని ఇంత స్థాయికి తీసుకు వచ్చిన వారి నుండి దూరం చేయొద్దు అంటున్న అనాధ.
వివరాల్లోకెళ్తే కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా జమ్మికుంట మండలం పరిధిలోని కొత్తపల్లి గ్రామంలో లో 2008 సంవత్సరంలో లో వీరస్వామి శోభ ఇద్దరు భార్యాభర్తలు మంచి ఉద్దేశంతో టి ఇక్కడ అనాధ పిల్లల కోసం సేవలను ఉద్దేశంతో టి ఇక్కడ స్పందన అనాధ ఆశ్రమం ఏర్పాటు చేశారు
ఇక్కడి వరకు బాగానే ఉన్నా గత 11 సంవత్సరాల నుండి తల్లిదండ్రులను పిల్లలకు వారికి ఆశ్రయం కల్పిస్తూ వారికి విద్యాబుద్ధులు నేర్పిస్తూ ఆశ్రమం నడిపిస్తున్నారు.
గతంలో లో బెస్ట్ ఎన్జీవోస్( కరీంనగర్ జిల్లాలో లో బెస్ట్ స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థ) అవార్డు కూడా పొందినారు
2012 సంవత్సరంలో లో ని ర్వహణకు డు వీరస్వామి అనాధ ఆశ్రమం లైసెన్స్ కొరకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నాడు లైసెన్స్ వచ్చింది ఇటి లైసెన్స్ ఐదు సంవత్స ఒకసారి రెన్యువల్ చేసుకోవలెను
గడువు ముగియడంతో మళ్లీ రెండు వేల కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నాడు కానీ అధికారులు నెల 7వ తారీఖు నాడు ఆశ్రమానికి వచ్చి మీకు లైసెన్స్ లేదని నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా నడుస్తుందని వెంటనే ఖాళీ చేయాలని చెప్పడంతో అనాధాశ్రమం లో గందరగోళ పరిస్థితులు ఏర్పడ్డాయి
ఐ సి డి ఎస్ అధికారులు మాత్రం పిల్లల్ని ఇక్కడ నుండి తీసుకెళ్తామని పట్టుబట్టడంతో పిల్లలందరూ ఒక్కసారిగా రోదించడం మొదలు పెట్టారు మమ్మల్ని విడదీయవద్దని ఇక్కడ మేము అందరం కలిసి మెలిసి ఉంటున్నామని ఇది ఒక కుటుంబం అని దయచేసి మమ్మల్ని విడదీయొద్దని పిల్లలు వేడుకుంటున్నారు ఒకవేళ నిబంధన ప్రకారం మూసివేస్తే నేను ఎక్కడికి వెళ్ళేది మాకు ఎవరు దిక్కు అంటూ ఏడుస్తున్నారు ప్రాణాలను వదులుతాము కానీ ఈ కుటుంబం నుంచి వెళ్ళిపొమ్మని అంటున్నారు అనాధ పిల్లలు.
స్పందన అనాధ ఆశ్రమం నిర్వాహకులు ఇట్టి విషయాన్ని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు.
మానవతా దృక్పథంతో టి పిల్లల్ని మానుండి దూరం చేయవద్దని ఎలాంటి నియమ నిబంధనలు మేం పాటిస్తామని వారు చెప్పిన విధంగా ఉంటామని అంతే తప్ప పిల్లల్ని మానుండి దూరం చేయవద్దని వేడుకుంటున్నారు.
ఇట్టి విషయం గ్రామంలో లో తెలియడంతో అందరూ వచ్చి మీకు మీ అండగా ఉంటామని ఎవరు వచ్చినా పిల్లలు మీ నుంచి దూరం చేయరని అంటున్నారు.
మా ఆశ్రమం ప్రస్తుత మంత్రి ఈటెల రాజేందర్ గారి చేతుల మీదుగా ప్రారంభించము ఇప్పుడేమో నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధం అంటున్నారు మా ఆశ్రమం 2008 లో ప్రారంభం చేసినము ఇన్ని రోజులు లేని నిబంధనలు ఇప్పుడే గుర్తొచ్చాయి.ఎందుకంటే మెం చేసిన తప్పు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని మా ఆశ్రమం కోసం ఒక వసతి గృహం ఏర్పాటు చేయండి అని అడగడం అలాగే లైసెన్స్ రెన్వేల్ చేపించడానికి ICDS అధికారులకు లంచం ఇవ్వకపోవడం మీకు నిబంధనలు లేవు సీజ్ చేస్తాం అని బెదిరించడం దాని వల్ల మా పిల్లలు ఏడవడం సొమ్మసిల్లడం జరిగింది ఇవ్వని మీకు కనిపించవు మా సార్ ఎమ్ చేసిన జై తెలంగాణ అంటాం ,ఎవరు ఎక్కడ అయిన పొండి అన్నట్టు చూస్తున్నారు. రామన్న(KTR) దృష్టికి కూడా పోయింది అయిన ఎమ్ చేయలేకపోతున్నారు ఇది మన బంగారుతెలంగాణ చి ఈ మాట అననికి కూడా సిగ్గు వేస్తుంది, కానీ జై తెలంగాణ.
