Hello, my name is Aasiyah. Today, I reach out with a heart full of hope, after much contemplation and amidst challenging circumstances. Facing the tough choice between borrowing money and taking a personal loan, I've decided to create this fundraiser as a bridge to brighter days.

I am currently juggling four jobs while pursuing a second doctoral degree at Pepperdine University. This year has been particularly trying for me. In May, I lost my beloved mother, a loss that has left me alone and responsible for both her outstanding bills and my own. Amidst this, I ventured into starting two businesses, which, though fueled by passion, have led me into unexpected debt.

As I navigate these turbulent waters, I find myself in a financial strain that hinders my ability to pay my rent, afford groceries, and cover utility bills for the upcoming months of December and January. Despite taking up additional gigs like Uber Eats and DoorDash, and tirelessly working different jobs, making ends meet has become an uphill battle.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, I was also rear ended by a hit and run driver on Friday evening on my way back home, and insurance will cover most of the cost of the damages.
