Urgent Relief for My Family and Kids in Gaza

I am Abdalrahim Abuwarda and I am originally from Gaza. I'm reaching out to you from USA, Wyoming with a heavy heart and a plea for help on behalf of my beloved family in Gaza.

Recently, my wife and our three precious children were forced to flee our home in the northern part of Gaza due to escalating conflict and continuous bombings. They found relative safety in the south, taking refuge in my wife's uncle's house. Yet, this safety is fraught with its own perils. In a home meant for few, now resides a congregation of over 20 souls, half of them children. Here, in cramped quarters with the cacophony of fear and uncertainty, they face a dire humanitarian crisis.

The relentless bombings have not only shattered the walls of our homes but have also decimated the very infrastructure that sustains life. Food, water, electricity, and medical supplies—the basic threads of human existence—are in critically short supply. Prices for essential goods have skyrocketed, rendering them almost unattainable, when available at all.

Children, the most vulnerable of all, are enduring unimaginable hardships. They need sustenance, diapers, medications, and the semblance of security to navigate their disrupted childhoods. Their eyes, once bright with the innocence of youth, now reflect the shadows of a tragedy they're too young to comprehend.

My heart also aches for my parents, siblings, and their children who remain in the north, a place that has become synonymous with danger as bombs fall merely a mile from their doorstep. In their home, which now shelters approximately 30 family members, the situation is just as critical. Every day is a struggle against hunger, thirst, and the absence of basic necessities.

This is a call for your compassion—a plea for your solidarity. We are seeking funds to secure the essentials: food, clean water, medical supplies, and other basic needs to support my family’s survival through this harrowing time.
