Urgent Medical Care for Armand

Armand Ngabo, my 20 year old nephew who is in his first year of college in Rwanda, has been sick since October 2017. He is experiencing swollen joints: hips, knees, ankles, back pain, shoulders, etc...  After multiple medical investigations and surgery,the doctor found an infection in his hip.  A week later, both his knees became extremely swollen, painful and difficult to extend or bend. Now his right ankle is also very swollen.

The doctor has not been able to find the cause of these problems. The doctor suspects my nephew could have cancer or migratory arthritis. Unfortunately, the medical resources are not enough to conduct a thorough examination to determine what is going on.

In order to get the necessary medical tests and care, Armand needs to go outside of Rwanda to a place like India or Europe or USA. It is unlikely that he would be able to get a visa for Europe or the USA, but he has a better chance to get a visa to India. Of course, his family will give all they can for the travel and medical costs, but it's very expensive.  They just don't have all the resources they need. In addition, his mother recently had an accident and is receiving care. They were also robbed just last week.
