When the System Fails Our Children, It’s Up to Us to Step In.
When the institutions meant to protect children fall short—when courts stall, when agencies are unresponsive or do nothing, when decisions are delayed, it is the children who suffer most. In those moments, it becomes our responsibility as a community to act.
This isn’t just one mother’s legal battle. Sadly, it's a reality too many families face: children caught in limbo, unheard and unprotected by the very systems designed to safeguard them - and too often, it’s not the truth that determines the outcome - it’s who has the resources.
Today, we’re asking you to stand with one of our own. Onna is a devoted mother of two young girls who is in the midst of an incredibly difficult legal fight. For the last 2 years, she has done everything in her power to advocate for her daughters’ safety and future. But the legal process is slow, complex, and costly.
We are aiming to raise $100,000 to support her in continuing this fight—to ensure she and her girls continue to have access to the legal and mental health resources they need and to show them that they are not alone.
Every contribution is more than financial support—it is a declaration that we believe in showing up for one another when the system does not. Let’s stand together. Let’s show what community looks like.
Sincerely,
