Help Mahmoud, his children & his family Evacuate Rafah

My name is Mimi Martinez and I want to tell you about Mahmoud, he is a displaced person in Gaza-Rafah and he asked me to start this association in his name in order to help him, his children, and his family survive the war.

I’m Mahmoud Hammad. I live in Gaza and studied nursing. I worked at Nasser Medical Hospital in Khan Yunis.

I am married to Lina and I have two children, Khaled and Youssef, my father and mother, and 3 brothers.

My father and mother suffer from high blood pressure. Before October 7, we were suffering from the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and now we are suffering severely from this war, bombing, and destruction, the likes of which we have never witnessed before. At the beginning of the war, my married sisters and their children took refuge in our house, after which Khan Yunis was subjected to a horrific attack and violent bombing.

We all had to flee to Rafah.

We now live in a remote area in a tent. The humanitarian conditions in the tents are very difficult. Children fall ill due to malnutrition. Our mental and physical health and our lives are at great risk. We can no longer bear it. We lost our work and remained for more than 5 months without a source of income, and despite all this, we were subjected to bombing and shooting. Nothing protects us. The camp we live in has been destroyed. They destroyed our house, the house we built with so much difficulty, which contains childhood memories and dreams.

Because of this war and destruction, we have reached a point where we no longer have any hope of living in the Gaza Strip.

What is the fault of my children when they grow up and see all this destruction? .. Life in Gaza is very dangerous and tiring. Our city is completely destroyed, without homes, without roads, without services. The only way to preserve our lives and protect my family is to travel to Egypt, and this requires a lot of money, as it costs $7,000 per person. Every donation can help us survive.
