URGENT support is requested for the worst flood victims in Pakistan.

Flood Relief Appeal
Pakistan is experiencing hefty rainfall, resulting in catastrophic flash flooding. Hundreds have lost their lives, including children; thousands are homeless, looking for shelter and food all over Balochistan, South Punjab, and Sindh. We are trying to get food and medicines and arrange shelters and clothes for the victims of the flood as much as we can.

Please support our emergency response and donate to our Flood Relief Appeal now.
Multiple sources report flooding across Pakistan, affecting various provinces, including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan. Within the last 24 hours, government reports have indicated that hundreds of people have been killed and injured. Also, approximately 72,340 houses have been destroyed in the same time frame. At least 184,061 people remain displaced in relief camps across all four provinces.

Pakistan has urged the international community to help with relief efforts as it struggles to cope with the aftermath of torrential rains that triggered massive floods last month, killing more than 800 people.

PWOA will highly appreciate your support and help expedite funds distribution to the most impacted areas. Please come forward to support our brothers and sisters back home with open hearts. This request is on an urgent basis as the need is right now.

As Pakistani Australian Community, we need to play our part; PWOA has taken the initiative to help raise funds to manage the acute needs of rashan and clothes for the people of Sindh, Balochistan, and South Punjab. The funds will be distributed directly to the affected people by local organisations JDC, Edhi & Al kidhmat, along with PWOA Pakistan volunteers in the affected areas. For two weeks, one bag of rashan for a family would cost 3000 rupees. We are planning to help as many families as we can. Please donate to this fundraiser and support the people.

In the Quran, Allah (SWT) says: “Help one another in acts of piety and righteousness. And do not assist each other in acts of sinfulness and transgression. And be aware of Allah. Verily, Allah is severe in punishment” (Quran 5:2).
