URGENT: CJ needs British Citizenship

I am raising funds so I can secure my right to live in the UK.
My son and I have lived in temporary accommodation in Southwark since 2016. Recently Southwark Council asked us to move our claim from Universal Credit back to receiving Housing Benefit through Southwark council. However this moved has now thrown into question my immigration status and right to receive public funds in the United Kingdom. I am now being denied access to public funds and my Indefinite Leave to Remain is being investigated.
I have an Australian passport and I moved to the UK when I was a child with my mother following my father, who was a UK citizen (now deceased). I received Indefinite Leave to Remain status when I was a child and am eligible to apply for a UK passport but have not been able to afford to. I have paid taxes in this country, received a student loan and accessed public services. However due to Brexit our immigration systems are now changing.
What this means?
Currently we are being denied access public funds, which means we will not be able to pay rent and living costs. I am currently disputing this but am dealing with an unreasonable situation where Southwark Council is denying me access until they get clarification from the Home Office. However the Home Office will not provide correspondence and supporting information for the stamp in my passport - as it jeopardises the legitimacy of that stamp.
So, I’m stuck in the middle of a bureaucratic stand off that I have no power over and the only way I can stop this process from getting worse I need to apply for a British Passport. Ultimately not doing so could result in me being deported.
Why I’m asking for help?
I need to start my process for applying for UK citizenship to prevent my situation from getting worse than it is. Our current situation is uncertain and exceptionally stressful. I need help to raise £1,400 to complete the process, the breakdown is as following:
£1,330 application fees
+
£19.50 biometric data retraction
+
£50 Life in the UK test
+
£12.99 Life in the UK learning material
+
administration costs & travel (unknown but expensive)
= £1,400
