Urgent Cancer Treatment for Alex

URGENT: Our son Alex is a bright 11-year-old boy, who is on his second relapse with rhabdomyosarcoma, a very aggressive pediatric cancer. The tumor grew through treatment and traditional medicine does not offer further options. He has been hospitalized for almost 6 weeks and his condition is declining. He is currently only receiving pain medications for excruciating leg pain and has lost the ability to walk and sit, as the large abdominal tumor is pressing on organs and on the leg nerves. He will be sent home on an ambulance next week to start hospice. We were referred to an alternative treatment clinic that helped two other people we are familiar with. We want to have him treated there in an attempt to get him well, or at least extend his life while looking around the world for any medication that could help. The situation is desperate and every day is of extreme essence. We need to raise $21,500 for his treatment (at least $13,000 of them have to be raised in the next 24 hours) working with the Conners Clinic in Minnesota (people asked and I want to clarify that will still be a patient of our current hospital).
