Urgent appeal for Oxygen

This is an urgent appeal from Kannada Balaga UK to all Kannadigas to come forward to save the lives of people in Karnataka. Thousands of people are dying in Karnataka due to a lack of oxygen, after being infected with the deadly Coronavirus- we need to do something right now.


Kannada Balaga has teamed up with Rotary District RID & Rotary Bangalore Social Club and arranged supply and distribution of Oxygen Concentrator Machines in the coming days.  These machines are vital to helping patients who are extremely ill - this could easily be one of own family or friend. These machines are also being used to discharge patients on home oxygen so that valuable bed space is released in hospitals for more sicker patients.

Please note that Rotary is a Charitable organisation like Kannada Balaga, and "Service above self " is its motto. Rotary is an association of people mostly professionals and leaders in their vocations, who have come together to do their bit for society. Funds raised are used to buy these machines and consumables to treat covid patients in and around Bengaluru. There will be complete accountability and transparency in all actions. 


Let us all come together in these most stressful times! We will be judged by our  kids and grandkids by how we all come together and help our own people in their hour of need.
