Laying Dad to rest

Donation protected
As most of you know,  our dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last Saturday. He had a massive stroke with a brain bleed on Aug. 3rd and was rushed to the hospital at about 430 am. He had a stent placed in his skull to help drain the blood, but after that surgery he never fully returned to us. My siblings and I had to make the very difficult decision to remove dad from the ventilator on Friday,  August 17th at 1:46 pm. He passed from this earth at 7:18. My dad waited until all of the family had left the hospital, and his children were either back home or on the highway leaving Texas before he let go. I believe in my heart that he did this on purpose, a sort of final decision of his. Dad had suffered from 5 previous TIAs in the past 2-3 years, and couldn't keep his BP under control. He was in the process of applying for disability because he couldn't work like he used to.  My dad was 58 years old, with four children and one grandchild who loved him dearly. No one was expecting him to not be here so suddenly. At the time of his passing, he was unemployed and had no medical insurance, or life insurance. The financial burden of losing my dad has now fallen upon us, his children. Not only do we have to go forward in life having lost our father way too soon, we have the unexpected and sudden expense of a funeral to plan and pay for as well. We are all so thankful for your support you have shown thus far, we just want the chance to properly lay our dad to rest. Thank you and God Bless.
