Unstop-Ability: Help us reach for the stars!

Donation protected
On a mission to make something unforgettable, and true quality, for a team of now over 100 performers, we are reaching out to the world.

Can you please help us?

Unstop-Ability is now a team of over 50 people with disability, from 6 to 60, joined by even more students and a huge number of volunteers who will come together to create an unforgettable experience for two days at the Inverell Town Hall in October 2019.

Unstop-Ability is a performing arts production designed in collaboration with our performers to turn inclusion on its head, and teach us about each other. This year, we need help.

Our 2018 production was made possible with a grant. This year, we weren’t successful.

To make this year happen, we are seeking funds for our venue, lighting and sound, costumes, and supporting materials to make this not just an event for people with disability, but a truly regional event to start the conversation about the limitlessness of the performing arts.

This year, and from this point on, we are thrilled to have artists from the Aboriginal community of Inverell and Tingha NSW join us to through dance and song, teaching our audience about local cultural stories, and including some of the dancers with disability in those performances.

It is critical everybody has access to the arts, can learn from each other’s stories, and that there is a way for everybody to hear those voices.

Through music, light, sound, dance, signing, and voice, we perform with joy. In 2018, our shows changed our community’s perceptions about what we can do - not what we can't. It was remarkable. Please have a look at the short film above to see what we did.

But we are Unstop-Able! We are still pushing ahead, because you can’t stop the momentum. Far too many people counted on this happening again, and we have been rehearsing for months.

We are hoping to raise these funds by 1 October 2019.

Our performances of Unstop-Ability: Reach for the Stars, are scheduled at the Inverell Town Hall, Inverell NSW, on 17 and 18 October.

It is difficult to express how much any contribution, no matter how small, will mean.

If you can contribute, please make sure we know your name, because we will create something to thank you through our show, and our Facebook page where you can find all things Unstop-Able:  @unstopability - https://www.facebook.com/unstopability

And thank you!!
