I am reaching out to anyone and everyone willing to help some of the most amazing people that I have come to know in lieu of a tragic accident that occurred yesterday. Anyone who has had the privilage to know any of the the Robertson Family..would say without hesitation, that they are the most loving, caring and funniest people who expect nothing in return. John would give you the shirt off his back without question and lend a helping hand to anyone in need. With that being said, the Robertson Family needs our help. Unfortunately, one of Johns 7 children, Nicholas was involved in a tragic accident at school yesterday. He was an innocent bystander in the midst of a science project a teacher was performing, that resulted in utter trauma. He has suffered a nose that's been broken in several places, facial trauma, air pockets within his brain and suffered a massive injury to his orbital socket and eye. The amount of damage is almost endless as this poor child is going to have one hell of a summer ahead of him due recovery and multiple surgeries to come.Nick has already undergone an explorative surgey however, that is only the beginning. The Doctors say that he will need several to regain facial structure and most importantly, the most difficult battle of all.. the ability to see again. It has already been confirmed that he will need a transplant lens and that probability for normal structure is slim.
John is an Active Duty Soldier who endlessly devotes his life to our coutry. Currently, he is stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. Blended together John and his wife Amber have 7 children. Carla, Nick's Mother resides in Oklahoma with four of the children which makes finances difficult for everyone. This is where we come in...
Nick has been transported to a Childrens Hospital located in Little Rock Arkansas and will remain there until further notice.
Please help.. anything small or large will be detrimental for this family to be able to stay by Nick's side while staying afloat in their every day lives.
