Uppertunity Kitchen Upgrade

Uppertunity is a community interest company, providing a personal development service and inclusive social opportunities for adults with additional needs, learning disabilities and autism. We provide activities and opportunities for individuals to better themselves and their lives, leading to long term self-reliance. 

We offer a personal development programme that involves cooking skills. We also make weekly meals for isolated elderly individuals, all made by our talented members. As well as this, we make and share daily meals. We want to share the amazing talent of our members and expand our service by offering a unique catering service...yummy homemade breads, cakes, pastries, soups and quirky salads using homegrown and locally sourced ingredients!

We would like to build the skills of our members and create an Uppertunity Catering Team. We would also like to offer a breakfast club, showcasing even more fun and healthy meals. In order to do this, we need to install new sinks, purchase an additional fridge, install a new electric fan and replace the flooring. This will allow us to register as a catering business and provide a safe and friendly training space to help our members become the cooks they were born to be!
