My name is Nina and I created this Fundraiser to ask for the communities help in upgrading my animal rescue vehicle. I am a 501 (c)(3) Non profit organization assisting stray and abandoned animals in Philadelphia Pa.
As a child I’ve always loved animals and rescued my first litter off the streets when I was 14 years old. After graduation high school and attending the community college of Philadelphia, i realized I wasn’t happy. I wanted to help animals but i wasn’t sure where to start.
I began following social media pages seeing lost dog posts and stray cats roaming the streets digging through trash and getting hit by cars after being dumped. Residents requesting help and no one coming to assist so I went online, searched for animal rescue equipment and ordered all my supplies on Amazon not even sure what I was doing at the time but i just wanted to get them off the streets.
✨I started this organization so that I could provide assistance to both people and pets in Philadelphia whether Humane dog trapping, TNR and assisting colonies with food, spay& neuter, preventatives, and emergencies all funded by my rescue. I help in parts of North Philadelphia, South, West, Jersey, even transporting to NY to give them a brand new start and place adoptables into loving homes.
✨I currently rent a Ford cargo van through UhAul on the weekends to help animals in the area and provide resources to residents in the community. The current van that was donated a while back is amazing but since being a guest on The Ellen Show I’ve received so many requests and SO MUCH SUPPORT but having this new van would help tremendously! I would be able to get more animals off the streets especially with the amount of pregnant females/ unfixed males roaming around I’ll be able to trap more without the hassle of using multiple vehicles. I want to do my best to help in my community and most importantly give stray/ abandoned animals a second chance at life showing them that not all humans are bad. In order to see a change we must be the change and make a difference together.
When I was a child animals saved me, I want to do my best to return the favor in Philadelphia and eventually around the world.
