UofM Parking Violation in Pandemic

Please help me with my $40 parking ticket from the University of Michigan. I drove to North campus for less than an hour to set up a mandatory experiment in order to pass my senior design class, all while during a stay-at-home order. Penelope (my car) doesn't deserve this.
