I am going to write a book, I want to tell the story of Unravel & Unwind C.I.C. Many people already know that it is a creative drop in community space but there is a hidden world within that I would like to share with everyone.
When Unravel & Unwind began 2 years ago it was all about having a community craft space to pass on skills and reach out to the community in an accesable and affordable way, but the people who come and connect tell me it's so much more than craft.
There are so many stories from the past few years regarding life at and with Unravel & Unwind which can be difficult to put across in small snippets. There is a deeper feeling, an entire personality of love, life and understanding. And this is the story I wish to share...

So where do you come in?
To get this book off the ground I need your help. I have the ideas, the "chapters" if you will, the content ready to write, I even have the commitment of regular visitors and my family to share their perceptions and story of the entity that is Unravel & Unwind... However, I have never written a book (I don't think creative writing in Englsh class counts).
I need guidance from professional publishers who can help me fine tune the content, create a cover design, typesetting & formatting, proofreading and editing and that's just for starters.
I also need to raise funds for all of the above and then there is the registration of an ISBN number, followed by print runs, marketing and promotions. I think I have covered most of it, but then there is bound to be parts of the process that I have missed out.
Is there a deadline?
*Update* We didn't quite make the Dec 2016 deadline, but as Unravel & Unwind C.I.C is 3 on 18th March 2017 this is now the new deadline.
Well, if it were up to me the book would be written already, but realistically we all know that is not going to happen. Ideally I would like to have the first print run completed by the end of 2016 to coincide with the 3rd birthday of Unravel & Unwind on Facebook.
