Let's UNITE to help her FIGHT!

As many of you know, Katherine and Liz are going through an incredibly tough time. Katherine has been diagnosed with an Oligodendroglioma brain tumor. The results from her craniotomy show that it is malignant and appears to be stage 2. Sadly, the same day that she received the results she was told by her job that they "could no longer hold her position" and she was let go. This ultimately means that she has lost her medical coverage. We are incredibly thankful that they were able to cover her as long as they did but it also comes at a very bad time. Currently she is waiting to hear from MD Anderson (she has been referred to oncology) about a program that might assist them with the medical treatment. Kat has applied for disability but has been told it is under reveiw. I am reaching out on behalf of Kat to ask for your help. I know that we have all been in a place where we have needed the kindness and generosity of others and this is that time for my friend. Our goal is to raise enough money for them to survive for the next 6 months. This will allow them to not have to spend their energies worrying about money but instead focus on beating a very tough cancer. Every single dollar will be immensely appreciated and utilized to pay rent, a car note, car insurance, and household utilities. Kat and Liz have done their best to minimize their bills and are living at the bare minimum.
