School Clothing and Supply Drive

My friend who is a teacher at Corr elementary school in Hillsborough county Tampa recently showed me what great compassion we should have for each other. She and another amazing teacher at the school were notified that one of their students did not have a bed to sleep on and was sleeping on the floor tiles at night. They selflessly decided to find a way to get the student a bed.

This really inspired me to see what else we can do for the students of Corr elementary? The demographic of the school is primarily from a low income back ground.

Therefore I wanted to help in anyway I could so I thought that we as a community could help raise some money to provide the kids with new school uniforms and classroom supplies for at least those that truly are in need of this, as it turns out the government only covers a small part of the classroom supplies leaving the teachers to step up and purchase supplies for the kids.

I would really appreciate if you could find it in your heart to donate anything to this cause, I would love for the least fortunate kids to not worry about wearing the same uniform for the whole week or not having the necessary stationery to enable them to learn.

I was fortunate enough growing up not to worry about having a clean school uniform for the next day and most of you too, so lets band together as a community and uplift the most valuable investment of our future - The Children!
