Unexpected terminal disease

Spende geschützt
Hi everyone. First I will tell you my story.

I have been working since I was eleven. I have always kept a job no matter what. But in 2015, I went through the most difficult surgery of my life. I went in to have an ovary removed, six hours later I woke up with a colostomy bag. I guess I had a cyst explode inside of me years earlier, and now the adhesions and scar tissue had completely taken over my organs. When I woke up, I had no idea what was happening. Three days later, my stoma that was created for the colostomy, died, and I got cellulitis all over my body. Back into emergency surgery for another 5 hours.  The doctors gave me a 10% chance of living through the night. I was in the ICU for 10 days, and for the next five months I was in and out of the hospital too many times to count. Finally after my insides healed, I was able to have the reversal. Thankfully I made it through, but have suffered from terrible side effects since then.

Now in 2019, I was diagnosed with stage 2 of cirrhosis of the liver. It was found when I was having a surgery for a terrible hernia that was caused from the surgeries 4 years ago. They have no idea why I have cirrhosis. I am not a heavy drinker, I have never done illegal drugs, no hepatitis...so the doctors are testing me for possible autoimmune diseases. Unfortunately the damage is permanent, we just need to find a way to stop it from getting any worse. I also have a paralyzed stomach, neuropathy in my feet and hands, memory problems, balance issues, and severe pain all over my body. My doctor has said that I am unable to work, and I have now started the process for Social Security Disability. It is taking a very long time, and I am patiently waiting for approval.

I am not a person who easily asks for help. I am in a situation that is less than desirable, and I need to find my way home to MN. I know that the social security will kick in eventually, but I am in the most difficult position I have ever been in my life.

So I am reaching out, asking if you can, please help. I will try to repay you one day, or if I cannot, I will forever pay it forward. If you would please consider donating, I will forever be in your gratitude.

Thank you SO much for reading my story.

❤ Stacy
