Help with unexpected funeral costs for Mary

Hello, all, my name is Erik. Recently my brothers and I lost our mother, Mary, after a difficult battle with cancer.

Our mom was filled with grace—for her family, friends, loved ones, and community members. Family was the most important thing to her. She always made sure that everyone was taken care of and put the needs of the other above her own. She was selfless and has never forsaken anyone, even when they turned their back on her. She did not hold a grudge and loved unconditionally.



Mary devoted her life to taking care of others and never stopped caring until her body physically would not let her. Even in her incapacity, she was strong for others. She is an inspiration. Being so compassionate, it is my hope that she has found peace and rest from her good works in the lives of countless others and her battle through sickness. She showed us how to live a life of servitude full of love and joy even through the hardest of hardships that life can offer.




As my brothers and I prepare for the funeral, we need to cover a total cost of $11,000. Mom did not ask for anything extravagant and only wanted the bare minimum at the cemetery she chose, knowing that she did not want to leave us with a financial burden. Even at the end, she was still looking out for us in whatever way she could.
