UNCSA invited to YAGP Dance School Festival

UNCSA’s cast of Dream(s)pace choreographed by UNCSA’s Assistant Professor Ilya Kozadaev for Winter Dance 2019 has been invited to perform at YAGP’s International Dance School Festival in New York City this April.  The performance features dancers from the world’s leading international dance academies including ABT Studio Company, Australian Ballet School, Berlin State Ballet School, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Boston Ballet II, Dutch National Ballet Junior Company, English National Ballet School, Houston Ballet Academy, John Cranko School at The Stuttgart Ballet, Palucca School Dresden, Princess Grace Academy, and San Francisco Ballet School. For more on this event feel free to look at the links attached. This opportunity provides exposure not only for UNCSA but also for the 10 cast members who will be traveling to New York to perform. The dancers will be in NYC from April 18th through the 21st to participate in the dress rehearsal and performance on April 20th at 3 pm. UNCSA is generously covering the dancers’ airfare and lodging and the cast is looking to raise money to help cover the cost of food and transportation while in NYC.
