Uncle Mike Rides a Bike

Mike "Spike" Cowell is an avid cyclist, creative woodworker,  passionate activist,  award winning performer, a new husband and a loving doggy daddy.  He's the first to volunteer when a friend needs a hand and has raise more than $15,000 for Pelotonia in his 5 years riding. On May 18th, 2019 he married his long term partner Elizabeth Holycross above a little pizza place in a diy wedding with 130 of their closest friends and family. Only 3 weeks into their marriage tragedy struck in the form of a CRV during Michael's bike commute to work on the morning of June 4th. Two surgeries, two metal plates and eighteen screws later the newlyweds are putting their plans on hold as Mike rehabilitates and learns to walk again.

With the wedding and honeymoon not yet paid off this unexpected expensive will be a strain on their first year of marriage when they would rather focus on Michael getting back on his feet. Helping them with these expenses would allow them to focus on Michael's health and recovery.
