Myanmar Primary School Classroom

In 2018 our team provided funds to refurbish two classrooms to enable the start of a new primary school in Mon Seri, Myanmar. (see video here)
These were for grade 1 & 2 with teachers provided by Teacher Training College (TTC) an arm of Effective Aid International's (click for link) work along the Thai/Myanmar border.
With the continued success and growth of the school it is necessary to upgrade and provide new classrooms for the many students that want to attend. The majority of the students are from the outlying jungle regions, up to 5 hours away and may have had no access to formal education their entire life.
The new classrooms will be built on land adjacent to the recently relocated TTC as Effective Aid move entirely into the country of Myanmar. This has been a long held objective and dream of their work since their establishment in the 2002.
The new school year starts in May and as a team we want to be able to provide funds for the construction and development of the new school. One classroom costs $15000 AUD - although we would love to build more! All proceeds will go direct to building a classroom.
