We are a Venezuelan family around the world. Given the Venezuela situation, we were force to leave our country to find a better future for our family. Our family has spread across the following countries: USA, Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela. Our cousin, Gilberto, went to Colombia on May to find a better future for his wife, his daughter, son and his mom, Tita. Tita is a sweetheart to everybody. She is beautiful inside and outside. She is the type of person that helps everyone. Today Tita needs us. She went to Colombia a month ago, after a long ground trip from Venezuela to be reunited with his son and to start a new life. By destiny, she suffered a syncope that warranted emergency medical attention, diagnosing Inferior wall ST elevation Myocardial Infarction with extension to the right ventricle. For this reason, she stayed for a week in Intensive Care Unit and underwent heart revascularization by angioplasty with implant of 2 medicated stents in right coronary and circumflex arteries. Additionally, Tita is a long-standing hypertensive patient, which makes her situation more delicate. Our cousin Gilberto is alone with his family in Colombia and he is the only economic support, for the moment. During the hospitalization of Tita, Gilberto has not been able to work, since their home is not located in Bogota (where Tita was referred for treatment), so he has not received any income during that time. It is up to us as a family to assume the expenses generated by the hospitalization and angioplasty plus the ambulatory treatments that follow for their control and satisfactory evolution (medications, cardiac rehabilitation program, cardiology, clinical nutrition, psychology and the indicated paraclinical exams), since Tita does not have medical insurance. The current debt in the clinic is approximately $ 10,000. Currently, all of us who are away are collecting money so that Tita can fulfill her treatment to the letter and be able to cancel the pending bill from the clinic, but it is not enough for us. We wholeheartedly ask for your help so that Tita can overcome this difficult moment and that we can give her back in some way all that she has always given us! We have been given notice that until the bill is paid off Tita will not be able to leave the clinic. Please help us!

Somos una familia venezolana disgregada por el mundo. Dada la situación de Venezuela, nos vimos forzados a emigrar a diferentes partes, actualmente unos vivimos en USA, otros en Argentina, Colombia y Venezuela. Nuestro primo Gilberto se fue a Colombia en Mayo de este año buscando mejor futuro para su esposa, sus dos hijos y su mamá, Tita. Tita es literalmente la tía de todos, los que la conocen saben lo bella que es, tanto por fuera como por dentro. Es de esas persona que ayuda a todos y siempre esta allí para los que la necesitan. Hoy Tita nos necesita. Ella llegó a Colombia en agosto, luego de un largo viaje vía terrestre, para poder reunirse con su hijo y comenzar una nueva vida, como lo hemos hecho todos. Por designios del destino, hace dos semanas tuvo un síncope que ameritó atención médica de emergencia, diagnosticándosele Infarto del Miocardio con elevación del ST de cara inferior con extensión a ventrículo derecho. Por tal motivo, permaneció durante una semana en terapia intensiva y se le practicó una angioplastia coronaria con colocación de 2 stents medicados a la arteria coronaria derecha y arteria circunfleja. Adicionalmente, Tita es hipertensa de larga data, lo cual hace más delicada su situación. Nuestro primo Gilberto está solo con su familia en Colombia y es el único sostén económico, por los momentos. Durante la hospitalización de Tita no ha podido trabajar, ya que su domicilio no se encuentra en Bogotá (a donde fue referida para su tratamiento), por lo que no ha percibido ingresos durante ese tiempo. Nos toca a nosotros como familia asumir los gastos generados por la hospitalización y la angioplastia, ya que Tita no cuenta con seguro médico, más los tratamientos ambulatorios que siguen para su control y satisfactoria evolución (medicamentos; programa de rehabilitación cardíaca - indicado en su caso; las subsiguientes evaluaciones por personal médico especializado - cardiología, nutrición clínica, psicología - y los exámenes paraclínicos indicados) lo cual asciende aproximadamente a $10,000. Actualmente todos los que estamos fuera estamos reuniendo dinero para que Tita pueda cumplir al pie de la letra su tratamiento y poder cancelar la factura pendiente de la clínica, pero no nos es suficiente. Les pedimos de todo corazón su ayuda para que Tita pueda superar este momento difícil y que podamos retribuirle de algún modo todo lo que ella siempre nos ha dado! Hasta que no cancelemos la deuda de la clínica Tita no podrá irse a su casa! Por favor ayúdanos!
