Un projet fait pour et par les jeunes
[English follows] Le projet Alyan est un accompagnement psychosocial et artistique basé sur le long-terme pour des jeunes entre 14 et 21 ans qui ne reçoivent pas ou peu de soutien en santé mentale.
Dans nos vies personnelles et professionnelles, nous constatons que la pandémie a un impact négatif majeur sur la santé mentale des personnes qui passent en ce moment entre les mailles du filet social.
Avec le projet Alyan, un projet de médiation culturelle, nous voulons créer un espace où l’accompagnement psychosocial se fait par le plaisir de créer. Nous souhaitons engager les jeunes à titre d’artistes afin de nous aider à créer une œuvre collective sur une thématique de leur choix. Il est important pour nous de rémunérer les jeunes parce que nous croyons que c’est ainsi que nous valorisons leur participation et leurs connaissances du terrain que nous cherchons à mieux comprendre comme intervenants sociaux et comme artistes. Nous croyons qu’un projet de médiation culturelle permet aux jeunes de s’exprimer sur leurs réalités et qu’ainsi nous leur offrons un soutien psychosocial. Notre objectif est de partager dans les milieux communautaire et éducatif tout ce qu’on va apprendre lors de l'œuvre collective.
Aidez-nous à lancer le projet Alyan! Il nous faut amasser 12 000$ afin d’engager 10 jeunes à participer à 20 ateliers avec nous.

A project made for and by young people
The Alyan project is a long-term community arts project for young people between the ages of 14 and 21 who receive little or no mental health support.
In our personal and professional lives, we are witnessing that the pandemic is having a major negative impact on the mental health of people who are currently falling through the cracks of the social system.
With the Alyan project, a community arts project, we want to create a space where social support is provided through the joy of creating. We want to hire young people as artists in order to help us create a collective artwork on a theme of their choice. It is important for us to pay young people because we believe that this is how we value their participation and their knowledge of the field that we seek to better understand as social workers and as artists.
We strongly believe that a community arts project allows young people to express themselves about their realities which in turn offers them support and well-being. Our goal is to share in community and educational settings all that we will learn during the collective artwork.
Help us launch the Alyan project! We need to raise $ 12,000 to hire 10 young people to participate in 20 workshops with us.
