Ukuleles for Maine Kids

Ukuleles Heal The World is a grassroots effort by lovers of ukuleles to share the power of the ukulele to spread smiles; enhance self-confidence and self-esteem; promote peace; and in those ways and many more help to heal the world.

As a Maine 501(c)(3) non-profit, Ukuleles Heal The World conducts week-long Ukulele Camps at Portland, Maine elementary schools, thereby enhancing school kids’ self-confidence and self-esteem.  Ukuleles Heal The World is undertaking a fundraising effort to purchase ukuleles to donate them to school kids and also to donate ukuleles to the music therapy program at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland, Maine, thereby spreading smiles.
